St. Charles College offers Native Studies courses from Grades 9 to 12 covering a broad range of cultural topics and contemporary issues. In Native Studies, students have experienced smudging and teachings with elders, mask making, carving talking sticks, hand drum making and moccasin making. The many contributions of Aboriginal societies to the global community are explored. From visiting the Ojibwe Cultural Foundation in M'Chigeeng, to watching a Kaha:wi Dance Theatre performance in North Bay, Native Studies is an engaging, interactive learning experience at St. Charles College open to all students.
